By attaching the lead to the chest of the dog, this prevents the dog from pulling (unlike rear-attached harnesses and collars) and brings them into the heel position.

Our harness has a ring on the chest that allows you to lead your dog from the front, helping them to learn to walk beside you. It stops all those tugs and jerks you get from attaching a lead to the back of a dog.
It also helps with reactive dogs, from jumping, and by helping you to turn and steer them away from confrontations with whatever they are reacting to.
No Choking or Discomfort
Unlike dog collars, chokers and figure of eight nose leads, this refrains from choking and causing discomfort as it is not around the dog’s throat, neck or nose. It gives your dog the freedom and comfort to enjoy all your walks together.
Been looking at these harnesses for a while but couldn't make up my mind as ive spent so much on so called no pull harnesses that have been useless. Bought the harness/ lead set. To say I am pleased is an understatement . Had a query about sizing and got a response within minutes, very helpful and informative so was off the a good start. Delivery was quick and items beautifully packaged.Harness and lead very well made and very soft fabric and easy to fit Took my dog for a walk and the real magic happened.. my near 5 year old labradoodle who usually pulls like a steam train stopped pulling and walked nicely by my side happily with tail wagging. Using this harness and lead is the first time I have taken our 20mth sprocker for a walk and felt in control. He normally pulls like a train on a back clip harness, hates halties and figure of eights either refusing to move or scratching at the nose strap until he gets it off. Took him for a walk this morning and he trotted along happily beside me from the minute I left the house. After a long walk we both came home feeling calm. Ordering was easy, delivery quicker than expected and packaged with love and with a code to show how to fit the harness. After trying every dog harness know to man to try and tame my 1 yr old female springer spaniel plus paying for extra dog training which also didn't work, the Tilney Trotter harness was the last one to try. She couldn't cope with anything over her nose and the ordinary harnesses meant she could pull from her shoulders and she is strong !! So expecting no difference with the Tilney Trotter I can confirm we have witnessed a miracle. She still trys to pull occasionally but it doesn't affect us or her and she is a much happier dog on her walkies and we are happy pawrents. I recommend it to anyone at the end of their tether , it works !
